Operation Christmas Child
As each Christmas season approaches, we encourage people to participate in filling a shoebox that will be sent to children in areas of the world who are less fortunate than those in North America. It not only brings joy to the children and families who receive them but also the wonderful news of the gospel of Jesus.
For eight weeks beginning in May, our Central Soccer ministry reaches hundreds of children and families. On Monday or Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8pm, the children learn some soccer skills and have some game time. Also included is a break and a Bible lesson time. People from Central Baptist and some other area churches help in being coaches and assistant coaches each of these nights.
